Well you U.S. speech is GREAT ....So use that in the best way possible to promote your item. You might also setup a website for free to showcase you ART.
Setup a PayPal acct.
Here's how you setup a website for free(sorry with the free thing they only allow you to show,NOT sell online.
You download "WebDwarf" and then go to freehostia.com. Use the FTP function to edit the site using "WebDwarf" and the register a free domain name at: freedomains.co.nr.
Or you can sell for "Free on Yahoo Auctions",or Craigslist.com and othere.
Watch similar items & track that sell on Ebay to get an idea if it will be profitable for you,so you can START with a "Bid Price" that at least make you 50% over expenses.
You aren't in it to lose money,so write a good ad with a high "Bid" to begin with.
Market your product to reach a "Wealthy" clientel.
Best of Luck...

Find stuff that you have, but don't want, and other people want but don't have. Post it on ebay and hope for the best.

There really isn't a simple way of doing this. Try producing some artworks that are more mainstream, which you can sell more easily to give you something to live off while you work on whatever other project you want.

Jump on something that virtuall increases in value after release.
The PS3 for instance would of been a great investment.
They sold for $600 at stores and are currently being sold online for about $2,000-$4,000.

Do some research, take a course, talk to someone experienced in doing so.
