Ive tried everything on the market for large facial pores (including Biore") particularly on my nose area. Got any suggestions? Preferably home/natural remedies...thanks!

If you want home-made remedies, this will probably be very helpful for you. Mix sugar with aloe vera (alcohol-free aloe gel will do) and lime and use that to scrub and exfoliate your face. Wash you face with water or with a mild cleanser like Cetaphil once you feel the sugar have dissolved. Do this every night. This regimen will clear up your skin and minimize the appearance of pores.

There is no way to really get rid of large pores. The OTC products only minimize the appearance of large pores not get rid of them. I have the same problem, although everyone says that they don't notice them, I do. I use Prescriptive foundation that seems to help me. If you want to get rid of them, the only way that I have found that does is an Obagi peel. (My mother and I have been researching the large pore issue for years). The peel is this blue gel a plastic surgeon puts on the affected area. At first you skin is tinted blue and after a couple of days it starts to look like plastic. Shortly after that your skin peels off, you can't pick at it or anything, but after 10 days you'll have smaller pores and lighter skin. I personally can't bring myself to do it, but it is the only way I've found that actually gets rid of large pores.

I have the same problem, pores dont become smaller... but you can try astrigent lotion every night, morning and if you feel you need it, at lunch time... I bought a clinique cream that helps but make up doesnt stay very well put above it, its name is pore minimizer and it has a sandy texture that fills in the pores so that they dont look so large, also by clinique, there is a foundation called skin smoother, and it looks pretty good... why dont you try them??

no matter what products promise, nothing will SHRINK pores. It's a hereditary thing. But girl, I'll tell ya, I've tried EVERYTHING and the best thing I've found is this stuff by estee lauder called idealist. omg it's awesome. it's this cream you put on your face and it makes your skin feel like silk and it makes your pores look invisible. Just next time you're in a department store, stop at the counter and ask for a sample. You're LOOOVE me!

this totally works unless u have oily skin too...in which case ive got nothng. put vaseline on the pores every night, itll close em rite up. put a thin layer on in the morning and let it sit for 10 minutes (car rides, breakfast eating) then wipe off with a tissue. cold water also closes pores, so after washing face with hot water (which opens them and cleans them) wash iwht cold water to seal the pores.

well, stop wearing make-up, yes, including cover-up, yer not going to die, and instead of trying to find stuff to clear yer pores, just get face wash, stuff to cleanse your face, because even though face stuff is supposed to clear your face of pimples, it still cloges up your pores, so I suggest using cetaphil, it works really good.

Honestly, I find pore sizes to change often, use benzoyl peroxide soap on your face daily, it worked for me.
