For a bone stock 3...thats a good time.
Especially when you consider the weight of the car.
Do a few mods and you can improve on the 0-60 tiime as well as the qtr mile time.
The newer 3s have improved 0-60s with the MTX.

That is quite good. For car car in the low to mid price range and 8 second 0-60 is great. Think of it like this, a 120k porche 911 turbo would do it in 3.5 seconds. So for the money you are doing fine

For the 2004 model this is good. In 2006 they added a higher performance model ('s') and its published performance is 7.66s with the 5 speed manual.

I had the same car until 2 weeks ago, it did about the same until it hit a bloody Kangaroo and flipped :{
So while that is good watch out for those Darn animals that come out in front of you

its pretty good, i dont see why someone would test a mazda 3s 0-60, but to each his own

if its stock that is a good time. i have driven plenty in my time and i know they are good performers straight out of the box.
