Barbara Ehrenreich researched what it is like to live and work in America at all the crappy minimum wage jobs like waitress, nursing home assistant, and Wal-Mart slave.

Turns out that even working two jobs, she can't make ends meet here in Capitalist Paradise.

The point is that all the "welfare reform" that is supposed to help women join the work force as unskilled labor is doing nothing but putting bucks in the pockets of The Man and doing jack for the people it was supposed to help.

Low salary workers are screwed in our society... you merely won't be able to make adequate money working menial jobs, even working over 40 hours a week to help a relatives, muchless one self.
