i think if we actually been to the moon we would have webcams pointing at earth fom every angle

I think that is such a great idea ...solar powered and telemetering back a video stream to Earth ... who's going to pay for it though.
What if something walks by and waves?

Just log onto google earth. You'll get the same view. No need to wait for moon webcams.

Think we can probably do better than a simple webcam. Look at all the roving vehicles and things that can be controlled remotely by the various space administrations beaming data back to earth.

true but as they haven't landed for 30 years or more(if they landed at all) then we will have to wait.And also nasa with other country/backers are talking about building a moon station in 2020 we will have to wait even although they were saying the moons south pole which receives the sun more than any other spot then solar panels will have to come into use.

There was no public internet and certainly no wireless 37 yrs ago, so why would you think there would have been a webcam?

The only problem is you would need very very very high resolution cameras
