Go Phones are free to activate and if you purchase it new it also comes with like $5 of air time.

Now there are two plans.

One is where you buy the card and use the minutes like that. But Cingular has another Go Phone plan where it will change your debit or credit card each month and you'll get so many minutes and on high enough plans you'll get free mobile to mobile and/or Nights and Weekends.

$35. Actually if the phone was once used, you shouldn't be charged an activation fee. At least I never was. I broke my phone & then wanted to go back to an old phone. I did and Verizon never charged me an activation fee to activate the old phone.

It's free! No activation fee. The price of the phone gets you the SIM card, and it comes with starter airtime and includes your activation.
