I assume you mean some everyday articles consists of only one element. Well Lead of a pencil is one (graphite), Copper or aluminum wires, silver utensils, copper utensils, charcoal, ...... the list is quite long. It is better if you inspect around yourself and try to sort them out yourself. Remember, only a few elements occur in native or free state in nature and the rest tend to form some sort of compound.

That's an extremely vague question. By "common articles" do you mean "clothing" or things found in everyday life anywhere around the world? When you say "consist of elements" do you mean "nature" (water, earth, fire, and air) elements or those found on the Periodic Table of the Elements? Do you mean compounds? (Such as Water is Hydrogen and Oxgyen.)

Everything on Earth consists of elements.
