By folding them differently.

Corners on 20's, 1/3 of the end on 10's or something of the like.

There was just very recently a Federal Case over this. In the U.S. there are no distinguishing features between dollar denominations that the blind can use to tell one from another. However, with some assistance, some have been able to separate and group them into denominations, and putting in some kind of marker in between, such as an index card or even a folded bill. In the future, the U.S. Treasury is going to have to come up with a way to distinguish the bills; either with different sized bills or by somehow imprinting the bills with Braille numbers (most likely).

They can't. They depend on the trust of the rapidly declining morals and ethics of Americans. Most trust their family to seperate them for them in different pockets or locations, but the ultimate decision is when they spend a $20, to get the correct change. In my day, no cashier would take candy from a baby, with the belief that that is the express lane to hell. But today, since no one believes in hell (I don't either) they have no qualms about taking it with the justification that they may need it more than a blind man that gets his money from government handouts, etc, etc. But I like to earn my money, even if by trickery, from someone that has an equal chance. We are only animals, when we kill baby animals for food.

And this is actually a very good question for a change. I am suprised the government hasn't put something on them now for them to identify them such as Braille. But then again, the government may have deemed it too costly for the amount of blind people, or the amount that actually get out or pay their own bills.

I think that they have to ask someone, or fold their money a certain way after a trusted friend has told them. There is a current court decision saying that the US has to do something about it. Canada has braille on their bills so that blind people can tell for themselves.
