I am an herbologist and can tell you that 'yes' you can take too many herbs, and can potentially cause additional problems for yourself.
Remember, everything you consume must be filtered by the liver, and too many herbs can tax the liver making it work overtime.
There are also herbs that are not good to take with other herbs,
and since I have no idea exactly what you are taking, I have no way of knowing the effect it is having on your body.
I am curious as to your source of protien, and hope it is not SOY.
Also, taking all these different herbs can actually increase your depression unless you are taking specific herbs to treat this problem.
Three essential supplements for depression are; Amino Acids,
Ginkgo Biloba and SAMe, each of which are very effective in treating depression.
I also suggest you get off the colloidal silver for a while.
Avoid the noni juice a while also, and try a combo of fresh squeezed apple/carrot juice combo. 2 cups daily.
You will also need to make sure you have regular bowel movements every day, and to help rid your body of accumulated
toxins (from herbal mixing overuse) try Yarrow tea, 2 cups daily.
You will start to feel better within a week after your body goes through a type of 'withdrawl' effect when you stop taking all these
different herbs

You're doubling up.. taking herbs, vitamins and supplements.. thats too much and your taking
35 herbs that's way too much. You should never take any more than 13 herbs. And U should know why and what you're taking a herb for. How can You know if anything helps you if you take too many? You could be doing yourself some serious harm as Herbs are not like pills as herbs treat the cause while allapathy (conventional) pills merely treat the symptoms. For depression St. Johnswort
and for anxiety or relaxing Jasimine. Go to
your local herbalist & Healthfood store and ask
herbs pick a book up on Herbs and their uses at your local library! Always let your doctor know what herbs you're taking! If U take herbs in most Cases U don't need supplements.
Most Herbalists or wholistic practitioners never
recommend anymore than 6 herbs a day... Usually Herbalists say 1-3 a day depending on the herb and it's strength!
some herbs shouldn't be taken every day..
comfrey is one cause it's a blood thinner that one is taken every 3rd day. Read about the herbs and what they do before U take them.
If you take supplements do the same thing.
Same if U take allapathy pills read up on them
and see what they do! They may do more than your doctor tells you... sometime good sometimes bad. Know about what your taking before U take it!

First of all keep in mind that many herbal supplements are the base for medications but may not be regulated in terms of dosage or function like medications are supposed to be. Second, if you are taking all these things and they are not helping you, then why are you throwing all your money away on them? I too have tried different things (just recently finished a bottle of Noni...), people say they are so great, but I really can't say that I have noticed any changes. i unfortunately have just been relying on drinking a mid day latte to pull myself out of a rut, but i don't feel this is a good long term solution. The best things to do involve effort: try to eat a healthy diet, try to get exercise regularly, try to have meaningful positive interactions with other people you enjoy the company of (or even friendly strangers...) Good Luck!

yes you can and probably are taking too much!!
how would you know what was helping and what is hurting?
herbs are very powerful medicine and can be potentiated by other herbs or meds
do research, see a good naturopathic doctor, research, read, talk to a certified herbalist or nutrittional counselor, research, read!
always tell your md what you are taking. there are alot of contraindications especially with depression meds and herbs.
part of my philosophy is that you should never take anything all the time, esp. things like silver...just no reason to...
take care...
goodt2shoes...why 13 herbs as the cut off???

yes, there is such a thing as too much. Supplements are exactly that; they are to supplement a healthy diet. Too much of anything can put strain on your kidneys & liver. Anything in liquid form is more easily & more quickly absorbed, though.
B Complex & St. John's Wart are the best natural anti-depressants. Adding regular exercise also helpls raise seratonin levels naturally, as well as mood elevating endorphines.
