if you have the manual for the motherboard, read up on how to set the bios to defalt setting, the beeps mean something so you have to find out what it is by reading the manual,
gose like this
2 beeps = no mouse
3 beeps= no keyboard
4 beeps= no video
5 beeps = memory error
now if it is memory problems it could be that you have install the wrong type memory, (Speed)
first switch the computer off make sure the memory is seated proper press down on it (not too hard) then switch on see if it works if it don't take the new memory out and reboot. see what happen if it works then take out old memory and put new memory in reboot see what happens if it work ok
the problem is different memory type
memory as to be the same type or it won't work
also make sure the video cards is seated proper if their is one in,
get back to me

Did this problem occur before you added the RAM? If no, then it should be the RAM's incompatibility with
1) other RAM's on your PC
2) your motherboard
Isolate the problem by slotting the RAM in different slots, one at a time, until you find out what the problem is.

Sometimes key cables are over the memory. You could have disconnected the processor fan or a key fan when you did the swap.

The memory card you are using does not conform to your PC's mother board specs. Try to find the correct card!

If your computer is not working properly while you are working on it, it could be a problem with device drivers, hardware or software.

You either have the incorrect type of memory, or the memory you have does not match what is in the machine.
