I think converse is cool. I know it was cool for everyone else a while back, but is it still?

Who's paying for your clothes? If you are, you buy what YOU like, and if someone makes fun of you for it, tell them that when THEY pay for your clothes, THEN they have a right to choose and/ or comment on what you wear! I'm dead serious, and don't be shy about it. People like that need to be put in their place.
Two more things.
1. People who like or dislike you for the brands of clothes you wear are shallow, and generally not very bright.
2. I wear what I like. I'd be surprised if any of it was in fashion, but I'm confident that I look good in what I wear, and always feel and walk around like I'm dressed to kill. In some cases, attitude is everything. Mine is positive. Someone gives me a negative one, they're getting told off and shut down, period.
And yeah, I like Converse too. I used to have red ones, and want another pair at some point.

Only in Asia! No offence, but those 'star' sneakers are NOT attractive on anybody. Converse hasn't made a comeback since the mid 90's. Maybe you can get away with a basketball jersey, but pls don't strut with that footwear! 80's hit back, but were still waiting for the ninties to reappear. Maybe you can be a trendsetter???

Who cares? Really, if something is cool to you, go with it. If you give in to what everybody else is doing, you are pretty much saying - I care about all you guys more than I care about myself. That's stupid. Who cares what everyone else thinks? I promise they don't care about you more if you follow them. Even if they did, that would be over as soon as the fad changes and you're not wearing it anymore. Don't fall for that.
You dress for you. Wear on the outside what you are on the inside. To heck with everybody else.

Yes!!! They are in stores every where, if you feel unsure about what is in and out of fashion try reading magazines, men magazines have great style and fashion articles, train your eye looking at photos in fashion articles and soon you will be able to tell right away what is cool and what isnt. Who cares if they're "in style" You are judged by your clothes first. what would converse shoes say to others about you? Would they help or hinder the rest of your outfit? Do you like them?
They aren't considered to be tacky or anything like that. No one is going to say "those are so last season" because they're a classic.

Converse is cool, they have made a comeback, everyone wants retro stuff, especially the high tops.

I am friends with a buncha people and none of us leave the house with out converse. they are still cool.

do you not see the whole stack of converse in the stores? got a pair myself~! they are cool...and who cares if no one else is wearing them but you. as long as you like it, right?
