In the first part of the 1980s, my family lived in SA. We lived in Woomera (back before it had reason to be a hotbed of controversy). While we were there, we became the foster family for a young joey we named Bright Eyes (or Brighton, for short) when his mother was killed on the flight line. When he grew up later, we moved him to Cleland Park.

He had/has very distinctive markings, as the fingers of one paw are white, while the rest of him is the usual colourings for a great red.

What I'd like to know is, is Brighton still there? Is he still around, among the crowd of lazy roos who relax at Cleland, eat the grass, and accept peanuts from the tourists?

Has anybody seen him?
