How can i check if my ram sticks are functional?

Control panel system and look how much ram you have.

Go into BIOS and take off fast boot and turn on the memory tester. Both values are linked so if you can't find one, you can find the other. Then on bootup it will perform a memory check. If gives an error even without a memory check see if one works and the other doesn't.

Download and run memtest.
