I prefer creepy ghost movies that make me think, and make me jump at times. I don't like gory movies like Saw, or teen-slasher flicks like Scream, really =P I prefer things like The Ring and The Grudge... and Silent Hill is one of my absolute favorites...

I like a little of both, actually a really good gory / suspense movie is Dream Catcher. It makes you think, not just scream your head off, and is also pretty gory but with a point, not just for the sake of being gory.

I absoltely love sh!t like saw..... Have you seen saw 3? That was wicked and gory! I really liked hostel for it's gore factor that made my skin cruel......... I'm a real sucker for zombie movies too, all the ripping out of flesh with their teeth it's sick but i seem to like it alot...... Dawn of the dead, land of the dead n 28 days later they've got some good gore in em too.... there's this site on internet www.rotten.com that's some sick sh!t on there it's wierd though i wanna look away yet i can't look away!!! so yeah it's definately gore for me.....

I prefer a movie that scares w/out resorting to gore, it's easy to shock someone with gore, it's much more difficult to scare someone with their own imagination, but the results are much creepier. Rent "The Changling".
