stick with xp for now. new operating systems always have bugs that need to be worked out before they're worth it. xp is great.

You always let M$ work the bugs out for 6 months before you install it, unless you gotta be the first to use the software. Most IT people wait until SP1 is issued.
I have yet to hear what, if any, reason a business would move to Vista. There are some kinda-neat features, but nothing that would justify beefing up computers and paying to install Vista.

It all depends on how you are going to be using your computer. There are a lot of updates that can be very valuable to a person. However like all new things there are bugs that need to be fixed but if there are any you will get the updates automatically so I does not matter if you get the OS now or later. For more functions of the new Vista operating system visit http://www.microsoft.com/windowsvista/default.aspx
Also keep in mind that the new windows os is geared around the Dual Core CPU so if you have a Dual Core, the operating system is going to perform at optimal levels. If not be sure to check the recommendations at that site listed above before buying. Another thing to keep in mind is there are different levels of the OS going from basic to business so read up on them to decide which is best for you.

That is a personal choice
If you are the kind of person that likes the latest and greatest then I would say get it,
If you are the kind of person that doesn't really care but just wants to get the job done, then I would stick with what you have for a while until the kinks are worked out.
I have a business and we wait about a year before we start upgrading everybody on something like this.

Yes I agree with the others, although vista appearance looks interesting, but i think we should wait for a while.
