Personally, I love the East Coast.

I lived on the east coast until I was 21, then moved to the midwest until I was 29, and have lived in California ever since. The west coast is much, much better in my opinion. This is supported by most people who have traveled Highway One along the coast, which has no competition in the east. Face it, the Atlantic Coast is too built up and polluted and crowded. The Pacific Coast has large portions that are still waves pounding on rocks or sand and nobody in sight. Some of this has to do with the continental drift: On the east, there are no fault lines, and most of the continental shelf is very wide. Waves are not very interesting. The Pacific coast is beautiful enough to draw photographers from all over the world.

East coast is preferred most as a rising sun whereas the west coast for setting of the sun.

well where on the east coast and where on the west coast.
it makes a big difference are we talking Portland or Miami or Portland and San Diego.

West Coast - third generation - miss it like crazy - now in Montana. At least Christmas will be white!!

i have lived on the west coast all my life (cali, ore, wa) and have never been to the east coast so i guess i would have to say the west coast!!!

I've lived in the mid-west and right now I live in the south-east. I like the west more. I think it's more liad back.
