No..but there are some provinces specially those in highlands that rains little pisces of ice(not snow) during December or January.
Some Filipinos are so conceited that they want people back home to think that they came from US or Canada even though they are sweating all over.

No, it does not snow in the Philippines because it's in the tropics.
What you noticed is a very funny third world peculiarity. A lot of Filipinos and Asians (among others) take up any opportunity to dress like the images they see in movies and magazines. As for the blings, well, someone made an observation that a lot of non Americans see the hip hop culture as the new American norm. That person blushed and said, "My gosh, we are so ghetto!"

nope!!! but small ice crystals yes but that is very rare to happen in the philippines. the only white thing that fell from the sky i experinced is the ash fall from mount Pinatubo eruption where you can find a lot of bling blings afterwards.

Hahahahaha!
Even in Filipino movies, I see people wearing turtle necks and touques and yet, Filipinos complain about the warm weather in the Philippines. That I just can't understand.

Philippines is a tropical country. We have wet and dry season only. And April is considered as summer and really hot.

No, it doesn't snow there.
It could be that they're trying to show off when they land the Philippines.
