Yes, allot of vets will let you pay later, or pay what you can untill its payed off.
I would at least call a vet's office, tell them whats wrong and see what they think. Be honest and tell them you cant afford to pay right now, they still might be bale to help you!

I don't know how to answer that. Often, though, there's not a lot that a vet can do. With all the information you can find online, you have a good chance of finding some way to help your rabbit, and depending on the problem, your at-home fix might be as effective as what the vet could do. Not many vets have much experience with rabbits.
Google "rabbit diseases." Some illnesses are serious, but treatable with a vet's help, like mange. Some are fatal, and there's nothing you or any vet can do. Some will get better on their own, and some might just need some simple help you can pick up at a drugstore.
If you can't afford to take the rabbit to the vet, and the disease is just going to get worse, putting the rabbit through the pain of the illness would make you a bad owner. We all do it when we don't want to lose an animal, but try to remember when enough is enough.

My local vet was one of the regular customers when I worked at McDonalds (I don't see how he worked because he was always in there talking to the other older folks) and he would take calls about 'Is this bad enough that I need to bring my pet in?' and 'I can't really pay much now, but can I make payments?'. He has taken care of my German shepard mix on the many several occasions after the big loveable mutt thought that honey bees were things to play with (the dog is allergic, by the way).

If the problem is serious then you must take them to the vet . Could you arrange to pay the vet in small amounts? If vets care about animals then they should arrange a different financial arrangement rather than letting animals suffer. If not I just saw awhole heap of websites about rabbits by another Yahoo user.Tomorrow Iam taking our guinea pig to the vet rather than letit suffer and Icannot afford the vet bill but animal care must come first rather than issues of money.

You're not a bad owner for not having money. But you should take the rabbit anyhow if he/she is sick. Vets can offer payment plans.

Go to your local exotics vet and apply for Care Credit (www.carecredit.com) - it's a low interest credit card specifically for veterinary care when you cannot afford it.

It is your responsibility to make sure you are able to take care of a animal before you require one!!!!!!!!

No, because I had that problem too. I had money when I bought him, but I didn't when he got sick.
