No, just like it doesn't really cover up hickey's. But fitness magazine did something on covering up bruises. Here's what it said:
Whether you were hit accidentally in kickboxing class or your latest Botox injection left a bruise (your secret's safe with us), blue-based discoloration can be a challenge to hide. Here's a foolproof camouflage technique from Carol Shaw, Los Angeles-based celebrity makeup artist and creator of Lorac Cosmetics:

Paint on a layer of yellow-based pot concealer (they're the thickest in consistency), covering the mark completely.

Then, blend seamlessly by patting it into your skin with a fingertip.

If necessary, add another coat.

Dust with translucent powder to prevent concealer from budging.

Voila -- this trick should keep your bruise under wraps all day!

you have to be very careful. I'm a beauty advisor at a walgreens and have helped people with lots of stuff, and have actually covered some nasty hickey's on myself. my boyfriend knows i can do it so he thinks its funny and holds me down. anyway. it's difficult and you have to use thin thin layers and blend it in completely between applications. if its a red mark use green at first. eucerin has a pen like stick that's great for covering redness. they have four products in their redness relief line and you can find it in the face wash/ lotion section of like walgreens store. make sure that the foundation you use matches your skin tone really well and apply it to you whole face just to be sure that the one spot doesn't stand out too much. now, depending on how dark your bruise is, this isn't going ot be fool-proof. and thicker foundation will always draw a little extra attention, but this should help it not be so obvious.

also, is it was a person who gave you this bruise on your face, then you should not have this person in your life. no guy is worth that.

It can, but it will probably take a bit of work (and a lot of patience!) to make it look natural. First of all, try a heavy-duty concealer. You can get ones that are made to cover tatoos. I've also heard that tinted concealers work well, yellow ones for dark blueish purple or green ones for redness. Make sure you apply it in thin layers so it doesn't look caked on and then set it with some powder.

In my experience, I would have to say no. It just makes it look worse. It will look like you have a bruise you're trying to hide. If it's a black eye, holding ice packs on it will indeed help with the swelling, but will cause the blood to pool and thus turns darker, making the coloring of the bruise worse. Good luck.

convinced you may. once you've time perchance you may bypass to a cosmetics counter to have them conceal it up properly. the colors of concealer are lavender, mint eco-friendly and yellow, or like a mild epidermis tone colour. you would might want to apply particularly a lot the alternative colour to counter act the colour of the bruise. is it eco-friendly-ish? what colour is your epidermis tone? you may use a concealer, then press or airborne dirt and mud powder over it to fasten it in there so it doesn't commence to soften off your face. only dont make it too cakey then it truly is going to be actual significant. good luck with that!

I think it depends on how colorful the bruise is. If it is too dark it may show up slightly on your face. Try it and see. That would not hurt. I hope that you are okay and no one is beating you down!

Use Covergirl AquaSmooth Foundation, at walmart or any drugstore. It covers so well and looks natural. It comes in a dark blue compact and is only $7

Yes - but you should go to a cosmetic counter at the department stores or MAC or Sephora to get a heavy duty concealer. Drug stores probably don't carry what you are looking for.

Try Dermablend and/or MAC.
