I really like this name for a little girl and would have the nickname be Kenzie or Kensi, something like that. Mae would be the middle name of course. What do you think? I know it's a place, I'm not talking about the place, I want to know what you think of it as a name. For example, there's London, Paris, Cairo, Asia as names as well. This is my version of one of these names. Let me know what you think! Thanks guys!

I think that it is a name that will be misconstrude as if it is a girl or a boy. Kensington sounds like a boys name. Mae of course a girls name.

Just think the little girl might get teased for being Ken, Kenny

Just something to think about.

We went with old traditional names for our kids. People will know the m/f right away.

In my opinion since you are asking I don't really think its sounds feminine. Its a cool name for a boy. The name Kenzie sounds pretty cool name for a girl. I guess its the TON in the name that seems masculine. Kenzie Mae is what I would go with.

But remember, the nickname will also go further and ultimately become "Ken," and if you don't believe me, then just wait and see. I am kind of tired of seeing all these kids with all these silly names that everyone is trying to be cool with.....Just choosing an old fashioned name that has strength is your best bet in the long run, and remember, a person does follow their name .... it does help to define a person throughout their life. I love the name Hattie from the 1920's, I don't know why, but I just love it. I also dig Amanda because it is a strong name for a woman. Kensington is a name for one of two types of chicks....the fat chick that always sits in the back of the classroom, or the snotty chick that everyone just pretends to like.....ie: see several movies/tv shows and how they typecast that name. Anyhow, good luck and be well, Jack

Kensington Sounds to me like a last name. But I do think that if you say as there first name Kenzie or Kensi that would be perfect first name.

i really like it actually! It sounds really sophisticated and Kenzie as a nickname for when she is young is gorgeous!! I like how you picked a shorter middle name with a longer first name!! It goes well together!!

It sounds nice but I am more concerned if it has a good meaning or a meaning at all. It is not nice to live with a meaningless name.

I like it a lot. I know a girl named Kendrick and nobody calls her Ken or Kenny.
