You may have a mild case of food poisoning. It happens occasionally when we eat out. Since most cases of food poisoning are self-limiting, and it's been close to 24 hours, you will just have to wait it out. Don't try to eat anything too heavy, and drink lots of CLEAR fluids (water, ginger ale [which will help the nausea], jello), or at least as much as you can stand. Pepto-Bismol will help the nausea and the diarrhea (which should be starting soon!). Best of luck to you; I suggest you stick close to your bathroom. If the symptoms get worse or change drastically, get to a hospital.

Believe it or not...most people don't know that you can take Benadryl for nausea...just follow recommended dosage on the package. If that doesn't work...your family doctor can call you in a prescription for Phenergan (promethazine) or Compazine...both of which are primarily used for nausea. Just be careful because they all can cause drowsiness.

Well it would depend on what you ate, but you might try antiacids, such as tums, rolaids, or even some maalox. If you are not sure what to take you could talk to your druggist or even call youre dr. and ask them what to do.

Get it checked first because you may never know what made your stomach upset.
Think positive so you'll feel better.
