many dermatologist say its got nothing to do with ones diet.. however the best thing to keep in mind is to drink lots of water during the day, to keep your skin fresh feeling and flush out all the toxins that cause acne and oily skin... Grab a product that contains Benzoyle peroxide, this is a zit/acne fighting agent that penetrates the skin to get right down into the pore to kill the bacteria, treat and diminish ASAP. You can buy these products from any pharmacy, also try a facial wash that contains the ingredient Triclosan (products such as PHisohex anti bacterial wash & or Detol makes one too) , that will kill any Bactria on the skin surface. good luck.

Okay, for one. Stop stressing out. Not very many people actually get blemishes from pop/chocolate but it doesn't help to eat oily things. Just clean your face, use some blemish stuff. My pours are dark on my nose so I use Astringent for that, and then I go about with my makeup and everything, just not too much.

I also have avon stuff, but remember, if you put on too much stuff you are going to clog your pours and end up with a worse problem. I heard that baking soda works great so I used to put toothpaste on my face, and it worked! Of course it would burn for a while, but after 5 minutes I washed it off in hot water. A healthy diet is a great key as you will be eating skin friendly foods. Look on the internet on skin friendly foods to eat and indulge yourself without pigging out.

If you’re looking for accurate acne information, best to see a dermatologist. Some people believe doctors are predisposed to take the easy way to deal with acne… prescription drugs. But, with many, this simplistic answer may not be the appropriate course of action. Some feel that such prescription drugs just treat the symposium and not the underlying cause. But, a local dermatologist is still your best starting point.

For me personally, I discovered a great informational acne treatment site. Not only is there good information/articles but I got their audio e-book and following it’s advice can now say that my acne is a thing of the past! Keep in mind, were all different and there are various types of acne, so what works for some may not be totally effective for all.

Bottom line, hang in there, you will get past this! Sincere best wishes and good luck.
Oh, by the way the site that helped me is:

There are many cheap and effective home remedies for acne. Tomato slices, turmeric, papaya juices and home made face packs will treat existing pimples and prevent further problems. More remedies at http://www.wellnesstalk.org/acne.html
