We rented a room to a guy who used to live next door. he paid his rent Nov 1 and moved in. a couple of weeks later he slipped me a note asking if I wanted to sneak into his room at night for sex. I NEVER gave him any reason to think I was attracted to him I'M NOT! I politely said no, I loved my husband etc. subject dropped. But he only paid $50. of $500 so far this month, and sneaks food at night. (not included in rent) now he is borrowing things. My husband feels sorry for him and when I talk to him about it he says I pay the bills etc and won't do anything. I bet if I show him the note he won't feel so sorry for him. He was living with his daughter before so he won't be on the streets. My elderly mother lives with us also and he is asking her for cigarettes now. When I ask when we will get the rent he says fri, then it's mon then tomorrow. I'm tired of the bull. Should I show my husband the note?

I can't believe THIS!!!!! I showed him the note a few minutes ago, he read it looked at me and did you do it? I said absolutely not, never I love and respect him too much, he brought up an affair I had 11years ago, we only were seeing each other 6 months at the time. I have been faithful since. THAT'S IT!!!!! right now he and the guy are having a casual conversation, HELP ME!!! I think I'm losing it.

You should have showed him the minute you go it. You don't want someone like that in your house. How well do you know this guy? You should really do something about it. Just explain to your husband that you thought of it as a joke that's why you didn't show it to him to begin with because you don't want your husband to get mad at you.

Yes, show your husband the note. This way he can see where you’re frustrations are coming from. I agree, you’re husband won’t be feeling so sorry for him after seeing the note. You guys should have him sign a contract, if you haven’t done so already and planning on still letting him stay there.

I would. But also be prepared to answer why you haven't shown him the note before now. If you don't show him the note, you may find things stacking up even more and this guy sounds like a manipulator. You don't want him to manipulate a situation against YOU. Good luck.

First give the jerk a chance and tell him you're giving the note to your husband unless he moves out on his own in say, within 3 days. Follow through if he doesn't go.

the guy is a bum... he wanted you to cheat on your husband. show him the note and get that jerk the hell out...
or, if he was in THAT bad of a situation, just take the note as a desperate fool's just wanting to get laid after soo many years of not getting any.
If he persists with the notes, even one more, show them to your husband.
