I am going to college in 4 years, possibly 1 or 2, and am debating over my major. I have studied the following fields extensively and am an "expert" concerning fields such as mathematics, cosmology, astronomy, astrophysics, physics in general, nueropsychology, behavioral psychology, anthropology, medicine, business, economics, education, and some other subjects. Is there a way to major in 3 or more of these? I am also a linguist. Can I add languages to my major along with a double major in law and business, and minor in psychology, medicine, and astronomy/astrophysics/cosmology?

If I have already written a thesis concerning all of the above, is it possible to do my dissertation and then be done with the course on the master's level. I do not mean skip the class, I just mean double up as to finish courses faster, and then do my masters faster, as to finish earlier.

By expert, I mean I have been quizzed by professors(Orals) and have been given outstanding marks.

I apparently recieved no credit seeing as I am not enrolled in college. Are Quadruple majors possible?

First, I urge you to reconsider calling yourself an expert in any field until you have earned a PhD.

Second, you seem to have a misapprehension about the way majors work. A major is a student's field of greatest interest, in which s/he takes the greatest number of courses, generally in a specified sequence. While double and even triple majors are possible (depending on the university), completing a triple major in four years may not be possible. This is because students are limited to taking a certain number of courses each year, and because many courses are offered infrequently. With summer study, a student could conceivably complete a triple major in five years.

Third, language study is usually mandatory at most colleges. Continuing study in one or two languages rather than limited study of several languages is more valuable in terms of fluency, and in terms of the interpretation of literature.

Finally, one does not major in law. Law schools are graduate schools, and one does not need to major in anything in particular in order to gain admission to law school. Neither can one major in medicine. Medical school is graduate school, and one must only take certain requisite courses at the undergraduate level in order to qualify for admission to medical school. (These courses include chemistry, organic chemistry, biology, calculus, psychology, and English.) While one can major in business as an undergraduate, it is not at all necessary to do so in order to gain admission to a business school (graduate level). B-school admissions favor applicants with years of business experience.

My best advice to you is to matriculate at a college or university that allows you to design your own major, which could include many of the fields you mention. Most elite liberal arts colleges will provide this option.

As to graduate study, I would discourage you from pursuing Master's degrees in more than two fields. Such a pursuit would not make one a scholar, it would make one a dilettante. Graduate study is about eventual specialization in a very specific field of study, not about breadth. I daresay by the time you are ready for graduate study, you will have found a single field of interest, and you will be ready to attempt to become an "expert" in said field.

You cannot be an expert until you have a PHD in these fields with at least 20 working years. I would narrow it down. You can have more than one major I am going for a triple major in Education, Psychology and Anthropology.

There are a lot of big universities in the country that will be able to accommodate your needs. However, I hope you have a lot of time and money because it will probably take twenty to thirty years to achieve what you have outlined.

usually, colleges have requirements for you, not you for the college...also it depends WHERE you want to study.
