Yes. And not just for shots. You can overcome feeling queasy from many things like being too drunk or watching a disgusting news report on a war.

For things that make me feel that way, my best "trick" is to hyperventilate a little bit. It feels like if I have more air that I'll be more able to deal with it. But it's probably just me giving myself something else physiological to feel. When I breathe more than I need to my stomach feels weird because of the breathing and I can ignore that it might be the shot. Also your head feels funny. And noticing things like that can help take your mind off other stuff. It's what I do if I'm bracing myself for pain too. Breathe extra, then hold breath during what should be painful, and then the pain is passed. It usually helps.
