Coment Spray Bathroom Cleaner - Dissolves hard water and rust stains. Its amazing. White bottle, green label.

One bottle sprayed pretty generously on all the stains and left to sit for about twenty minutes will make built-up stuff easy to wipe off with a paper towel. You can then use it regularly to prevent more stains.

I tried it after trying zillions of other products that cleaned some of the stain but left some as well.

It cleared up a gray stay on my tub surround that I thought was forever (in about twenty minutes). I just thought the gray stain was damage because the tub surround is on the old side.

I have hard water, and if I don't use this stuff every couple of days it looks like I haven't cleaned in months. About 1.99 a bottle.

You can spray your sink fixtures and kitchen sink to keep them sparkly (rather than cloudy, the way hard-water makes everyting) too.

Mix baking soda and alcohol in a dipper. Put very little alcohol to make a paste. Put the paste on the stains, let it stay for a few minutes maybe five. Then brush it with the toilet bowl brush. This will not scratch the ceramic and will remove hard water stains.

Lime Away works better than CLR, and if you have an automatic dishwasher try a product called LemiShine. If you can't find it in stores with the dish detergents you can order it online. It will not only clean your dishes better, it will save the equipment. It can be diluted in a spray bottle and used anywhere, and it's nontoxic.

CLR....for quick results. For the long run, have a water softener installed. Will save you lots of money down the road.....faucet repairs, hot water unit repairs, etc.

also, wipe out the tub and walls in the shower with a towel each time you are through in the shower. that way the water doesn't have a chance to discolor it.

PLENTY OF PRODUCTS AVAILABLE, HAVE U BEEN IN THE GROCERY AISLE FOR THAT IT IS LONG. IT WILL COME BACK, U MAY WANT TO CONSIDER A FILTER/SOFTENING WATER SYSTEM FOR YOUR HOUSE, BUT THAT COMES WITH MAINTAINANCE AND ADDITIONAL COST.
