Man can't reside on the moon, because it doesn't have an atmosphere... In other words there is no air on the moon... The only way it would ever be possible is if people would build structures that are completely sealed, that way could create a false atmosphere... But it would be simpler to collinise Mars which already has an atmosphere...

Let's see...when I was in grade school..we shoulda done that years ago...not to mention flying cars......wheres my flying car? Damnit.
But anyways...water...thats what they are concerned about...they are hoping to find some sort of way to transport water cheaply or find water on the moon...thats why mars looks more appealing....it has remnants of water flows and lakes.
