I have recently noticed the following things on t.v. and was wondering what your opinions are on these types of things:
a women stuck her 3 week old baby girl in the microwave oven and cooked it from the inside out. the baby's mother has been arrested and charged. if she did do this she will be sentenced to death.
a young mother fed her 2 month old baby 3 oz. of vodka. she claims that the vodka was in a water bottle in the car and she did not smell it before she mixed it with the baby formula. the baby became intoxicated with a blood alcohol level around 3.0. there has been no arrests made in this case.

I read about the woman who microwaved her infant.
My opinion is that these women have some really serious mental issues. Not that they are "insane," but that they are in terrible need of help relating to parenting. I mean, what kind of thoughts were they thinking to do such off-the-wall things? Were they involved with drugs, drinking, what??
It is horrifying to realize that people with no sense of what is right are procreating. Absolutely horrid!

Well I dont think these people have brains, the women who cooked her baby did commit murder and should be punished accordingly. As for the other, what kind of person has vodka in a water bottle in the car? She might have an alcohol problem and needs help.

i recently heard about the mom and the microwave i seriously think she had issues and should of had help in case she was showing signs of the so called prenatal blues aka baby blues i guess some folks just are not made out to be parents i believe she will get what is comming to her .. poor baby well i'm a firm believer that she is with her maker. in regards to the sec one there is a possibility that she mistook the bottle of vodka for water and whom said it was the mom's could of been the dad's but in any case alcohol should never be given to any one under the legal age of what ever it is in which state u live in ... i',m from canada and i believe our legal drinkin age is 19 but i feel that both mom's will get whats commin to them hopefully the help they need .

With new laws that allow you to drop a baby off at the hospital, fire station, police station with no questions asked, this is unexcusable. It makes me a beleiver in capital punishment. You cannot tell me that these women are so detatched that for a fleeting moment they felt this was okay.
