There are so many effects of the Renaissance Period that it is hard to know where to start. We have a much greater appreciation for art of all kinds thanks to the wonderful artists of that period. If you take DaVinci as your starting point, he influenced things from art to science, from alchemy to flight. Long before our civilization even began to grow he was inventing things like the helicopter, the submarine, and the hangglider.
