The French are considered to be wussies and very feminine. Everyone hates the French. Why is this? Besides international affairs, why are they considered to be such Wussies? I don't get it.

The reason the French are concidered wussies is because everyone has to save them in one way or another. World War one and two are a prime example.
The French have a big voice, but do absolutely nothing about it. (Iraq and Tony Blair)
Even back in the day, the "French" were as rich as the "British". But never do you hear the "French Empire". You do hear of the "British Empire" in India, Africa, Asia, Australia, South America, and the New World. British Expeditions, British conquering.
You never hear of French Expeditions, worth talking about. Or the French conquering much.
Ohh, don't get me wrong, they tried, but never got anything accomplished. And by the time World War Two rolled around. The Americans with the British(Great Britain or currently known as the United Kingdom) ended saving the French, by re-occupying France.
So yes, the French act very feminime and don't do anything "heroic, or brutal (war)", they don't want to "hurt" anyones feelings. So since he French don't want to "break a nail" they are considered very feminine and wussies.

I don't think they are, nor do I think they are as hated as Americans. They are #1 in overall healthcare (WHO) and give 3 years paid maternity leave and guarantee of job security. Maybe because some think helping the poor and providing social services aren't "manly" behavior. Being feminine is compliment in my opinion. Women don't start wars and they are the ones being killed, along w/ children, when there is war...I'd rather be a wussie w/ good health and a good future guaranteed for my children than be concerned about being hated by a handful of people. There isn't a group that isn't hated by another. We Americans should know...US support has gone down drastically in Muslim nations and elsewhere since start of Iraq war.

they gave into the nazis in ww2 with out a fight(or vary little) and since then they been branded as cowards.
