I'l take a thought provoking question anyday.
But even the lame questions solve a purpose.They can be used to boost the morale of people who consider themselves intellectually inferior.Just bring one such person to read a lame question in yahoo answers and his /her face will brighten up with a new lease of life.
I seriously mean to say that the lame ones splattered here are really that stupid.

I like ones that allow me to show off how smart I am (just kidding). Unfortunately, this category is generally not suited for that, so I have to go over to Law & Ethics instead.
