i was to short on that what i mean 1. will the motor fit? 2. also the 6 speed trany? 3 and last if the motor and trany fit will i be able to run the front axles to make it all wheel drive?

NO. the engine has NOTHING abolutely NOTHING to do with AWD to get AWD in a mustang you will have to do some SERIOUS, SERIOUS modifications.

Dude I was asking to see if I could drop the sti motor in replacement of a engine rebuild 8k$!!!! For my 3.0 Porsche carrera. on the other hand you have a mustang.. you can pick up a motor for that car very cheap with well over 300 horsees than the sti motor.

It would be nearly impossible to get AWD on a mustang without changing the whole frame - just changing the engine will not give you AWD!

No. the engine has nothing to do with the drive, 2,4 or all wheel

most likely it will not fit. Subarus use horizontally opposed boxer engines.
