All of us who were at the game today!

Eight 100-yard games in a season-a new record

And Marty hardly used L.T. during the first three games!

Jim Brown, Walter Payton, Barry Sanders, move over: Here comes L.T.!

BTW, S.D. is no "One-trick pony." Rivers was 15/23, 279 yards, 2 touchdowns and 0 interceptions. What has Peyton Manning done lately?

I agree he is almost a shoe in for the MVP. Only one scenario where i see him not getting it and this is a long shot. The Chargers dont make it to the superbowl and the Saints do. Then i think its Drew Brees

Absolutely. Such a class act and awesome performer. (Ignore the moron above saying he is the only threat on the Chargers. He must have never seen one of their games.)
With three games still left, he is prime to put the TD record way out of reach.

He's definitely MVP material. He managed to take one of the crappiest teams in the NFL and turn it into a serious SB contender. Now if Leinart can do the same with the Cardinals....

He's got to be the MVP. He breaks a new record or 2 in every game. GO CHARGERS!

Most Definitely.

I think it is too early to make a definite call, other than for team/player favorites.
L.T. might very well be a good contender, but the Saints have two candidates with Brees and Bush!

He's the leading candidate, but if Drew Brees has a few more games like tonight he'll win it.

Of course he will be. Why shouldnt he be? He accounts for most of the Chargers offense. They have based that whole offense around him. In fact if he got injured their season would be over really quick. The Chargers are a one man gang, and thats not going to make it to the Superbowl. I can see why Shotenheimer has never won a ring.
