They are considerably cheaper than others I've seen by Bridgestone and Goodyear, so for some reason I expect that there is probably a reason for this. But, I am hoping to hear that I am wrong about that. If you have experience with these tires, what do you think of them? Not only in the snow, but how are they during braking and cornering on dry pavement?

Well, I have some steel studded on my RX7. In the snow, they're great, best I've ever had! On the pavement, the cornering is okay (not as good as my 18" rims though) and the braking kinda sucks.
