If someone has very sensitive ears, what would be the best rating for them to buy?

24 kt. is PURE & more expensive....
10 kt. is full of alloys like nickel & cheap.
14 kt. is good
18 kt. is better
24 kt. is best
I do have sensitive ears & not long after putting cheap 10 kt. gold earring in, I'm taking them out because my ears hurt. I actually only have three pairs of 18kt. gold earrings (diamond cut hoops, byzintine hoops in yellow & white) my diamond studs & diamond dangles are in platinum as is my wedding set.

The karat "rating" is to show the content of gold in that piece.
Each piece of jewelry consists of 24 parts -- combination of gold, nickel and other metals.
10kt=10 parts gold, 14 parts metals
14kt=14 parts gold, 10 parts metals
24kt is pure gold.
Gold is a very soft metal. Therefore 10kt would be the strongest and most durable, 24kt being the softest and most likely to bend, brake and show wear.
FOLLOW UP-
Those with sensitive ears normally don't require any certain kt to avoid discomfort or tarnishing....as long as it is real gold and not the costume jewelry, they shouldn't have any problems. In my 5 yrs of gold sales, I think I only encountered one person who ACTUALLY needed solid 24kt - the others just wanted the most expensive. Nither kt is really any "better" than another, it basically depends on type of item, your budget and who it is for. For example, if I were looking at a "delicate" piece (such as a herringbone, singapore, box link, thin ring w/delicate setting etc) ---or if it were going to be for someone young or known for being hard on jewelry, I would go w/10kt.

I do not know much but the only thing i like is umbreon's baton pass attack, that will come in handy. And scizor knows baton pass as well and he can do iron defense and swords dance. And get someone with substitute like Mr Mime. Iron dafense may help pikachu.

10k is more durable and will hold up longer it has more other metals in it to make it a stronger metal as the numbers go ,like 14k and24k these r softer metals and alot more easy to break, bend and not hold there form. As for earrings to buy 10k is the most popular because of the extra metals and one of those metals is an hypo-allergenic metal, this will help. good luck
