Hi,
The part of the engine that the sparkplug screws into is called the cylinder head.
The threads in the hole where the spark plug screws in are stripped.
Most of the time, this is repairable with the head left on the engine. If you are mechanically inclined, you can do it yourself. If not mechanically inclined take your vehicle to a competant repair shop.
The repair involves inserting a helicoil to repair the damaged threads. The helicoil installed properly is actually stronger than the original threads as I believe your Mazda head is made out of aluminum.
The basic procedure that must be done goes as follows. First procure a helicoil kit for the size of spark plug hole you need. You can either buy a set with various sizes or get a single size kit for the size you need.
You will then drill out the spark plug hole oversize using the correct drill bit specified in the kit. After this, you will use a special size tap from the kit to cut new threads in the hole you just drilled oversize. After the threads are cut, screw in the helicoil with the tool provided. You are now ready to screw your spark plug back in.
The procedure is not hard but whomever is doing it must know what they are doing.

The spark plugs screw into the cylinder head. The threads are stripped and need to be repaired. There is a special tool made to clean and retap the spark plug hole, insert a helicoil, and peen it into the head so it will not come out. If you are up to doing the job, and don't want to buy the tool, check with Autozone and see if they have a loaner. If you don't want to do it take it to a shop and tell them you need a helicoil installed in the head. Due to the way the spark plug holes may be oriented, you may not have room enough to operate the tools necessary, and the head may have to come off.
As an aside, all aircraft engines have helicoils in the spark plug hole when they are made.

Its the cylinder head. You do not need to replace the head. Sometimes the threads can be repaired with a helicoil. Helicoils are made to replace stripped threads.

Its called the cylinder head and is actually pretty easily fix with a helicoil. I would not recommened doing this yourself due to the fact that if anything is placed into the cylinder could cause major damage. The part is cheap but the time and labor can cost a decent penny. Hope this helps.

It's the head. This sometimes happens with aluminum heads, and the solution is to have a helicoil insert put in. You can do it yourself or have a shop do it. The hole needs to be tapped oversize, and then a steel coil made of square wire is screwed in to reduce the size of the hole back down to what it was. After that, it's stronger than it was before.

That part of the engine is called the head. However, you might be able to get away without replacing it. Take it out and take it to a good machine shop. There they can probably helicoil it, where they press in new threads, or they could tap the hole for you.

to answer your question about replaceing the spark plug in the engine block go to you auto supplystore and ask for a heliark spark plug thread repair kit it a sleeve with threads inside threads on the out side and it comes with a sealant that you apply to the outer theads put your new plug into it then install the heliark plug into the spark plug hole let sit one hour then start engine the engine heat will do the rest

lacking that seal would allow unmetered air into the engine and the air fuel ratio would be off. the engine could struggle to run and would lack power. a CEL could come on. if that seal were to fall into the engine, it would gradually be drawn into the engine maybe and if it did make it past the valve, it might keep that valve from closing and you would have a noticeable miss.

The head is what it popped out of. You need to get you car to a skilled mechanic. He ( or she ) can fix it readily. Or you can keep messing around and create a really, really big problem.
