There were several. It was a very active season. I'll give you the names of them though.

This doesn't include tropical storms or tropical depressions. Hurricane Opal was the strongest storm of the year. You can check all this info out on wikipedia.com.

since I was on ST Thomas for Humberto Iris Luis and Marilyn, the last of which destroyed 50% and damaged all the rest of the buildings on St Thomas.........mine blew apart around me at 11:43 pm........I'm going to say Marilyn.
