Yes, the Saints DO look real good, but unfortunately I don't know if they could handle the Chargers right at this moment in time.
But the Chargers will have their OWN problems in getting into the SB. The Batimore Ravens. The Ravens are one of the only teams to beat the Chargers and today they beat the only OTHER team to beat the Chargers this season, the Chiefs (in Arrowhead!). You will notice that in the game with SD the Ravens D didn't stop LT from running, they just kept him out of the end zone.......
(And no, Mr. Samurai, you don't have to say it, they ARE 11-2 and yes, I confess, that counts.......)

The Chargers would crush the Saints. It wouldn't even be a game. No team with a 25th ranked run defense has any chance of beating the Chargers, period. The Chargers are MUCH better on defense than the Saints, and they've outscored the Saints by over 100 points on the season. No contest.
Hey it's Donnie J, don't worry I wasn't going to say it, it speaks for itself at this point. And I DO think the Ravens are the #2 team in the AFC right now, but I just don't think anyone can handle the Bolts now that they're getting healthy. L.T. started out slow this season, but the way he's playing now I don't think any team will be keeping him out of the endzone. I think your worst nightmare might just come true this year.

Chargers will win, Saints have won, but in the weaker conference, Chargers have played better opponents. The only thing that wil make me uncomfortable is that Brees knows the team and may know the Chargers weaknesses and take advantage of these knowledge, this may make the game interesting, but even so, I do believe the charges would win

The Saints. If they keep playing like they did with Dallas tonight, they're well on their way. Love the new coach, can't wait to see the Saints win the superbowl. Who dat?

I am a Saints fan, and with the performance that I just saw...
I would feel safe to say:
Geaux Saints!!!
I personally would like to see the Saints and Colts geaux!
But thinking about it...
Chargers have L.T. as the biggest playmaker
Saints have Brees, Deuce, Bush, Horn, Mckensie, and now a performance FB in Karney...
but I think the most important position is the coach when it is filled by a young and aggressive man like Sean Payton.
He can turn the most unlikely position into a performance spot.

It would be a hell of a game. I think that the Saints would make the better winners because of their story, but the Chargers have LT. That's a dangerous weapon.

CHARGERS!
Both teams have awesome offensive tools; but, after watching the Chargers (live) today against the ponies, their defense, even the previously-suspect secondary, would turn the tide in their favor.
But, Drew Brees against his protege, Phillip Rivers, and Reggie Bush against L.T. would be an awesome game!

Definitely the Saints. I believe if they do go as far as the big game, then they are surely destine to win it.
