Though there is a tendancy among families for children to favor the same hand as parents, it is not a genetic trait. It is learned; something imprinted.
Good luck!

If astrology did not exist, there would be something else to take it's place. Physical evidence is nonexistent so it continues to be a belief oriented religious substitution. Statistics don't support the concept. There is no theory let alone knowing which astrology is the real deal. The lack of consistency is a problem that is ignored. What it does support is a natural bigotry that can not be eliminated. This is because though astrologers have access to statistics, to admit that they maybe wrong will not happen. Not only do they believe astrology works, it must work. Belief is the key. Astrology is depends on speculation not evidence. So is astrology a type of religion? Then you can't state that it factual. If you claim it's factual, you got to have the evidence. Often I ask where does astrology clearly succeed compared to simpler and more likely alternatives. When does it do better than chance? Never have received one answer. For being so great and important, this should be the easiest to answer. If something else (like random chance) other than astrology works better, why even bother with the latter? Those that spend years in study don't reply. Are there any results to all this studying that has been done? Astrology is thousands of years older than modern science and had a huge head start. Anyone close to finding evidence that can pass repeatable testing so it's not just a blind belief anymore?

I don't think left or right handed is an inherited trait. Left handed people who are NOT twins had a twin who did not survive. It could have happened soon after the egg split into 2. In identical twins, one is always left handed and one is always right handed.
I read of a study some years ago where they studied identical twins who were raised separately. Because they always try to keep twins together, the researchers couldn't find enough subjects for a real good study, but what they found was incredibly interesting. See if you can find information on that study. You will like it.
The most notable example was two guys. They both drove the same year classic cars, they were both small town firechiefs, they both married women with the same first name, and they both liked the same brand of beer.

Does it have to be a categorical or qualitative trait - which is what most of your list is? You can find a lot more quantitative traits (like your height suggestion): weight, speed (for race horses or human runners), lactation yield (in dairy cows), antler length, etc. Granted most of my examples are for animals, but you can find similar things in humans.

hemophilia
sickle cell anemia
color blindness
Progressive Myopia
pattern baldness
albinism
blood type/ Rh factor
the ability to taste phenyl-thio carbamide

Do you need more because I could go on? Do they all have to be human traits? If not I could fill a book!

Here are some that I can think of:
tongue-rolling ability
freckles
hitch-hikers thumb
hair texture - curly or straight
weight (metabolism)
eye shape
nose shape

There could be a lot more "shapes" of things, I suppose.
Hope that helps!
