I thought that I was pregnate. I was taking birth control but I missed a pill or two during the time I might have concieved. When I began having some earily signs of pregnacy (soreness in area's and so on), I stoped taking my pills. Normally it would have taken me about a week to began my period. I started about two days later. After the first day my period was very heavy, and I had a grayish clot. It was very small,. and didn't think to keep it around. The bleeding has lighten. But now (two days after the clot) I am feeling very tired and some what cramping (normal pain). I talked to a friend who said that the clot could have been a sign of a miscarriage. My cramps are starting to get a little worse and my back is killing me. Even though I have had stress, could this be symptoms of a miscarrige? I do plan to go to the doctor tomorrow, but should I go now??

With this early of a miscarriage, your body should be able to pass it on it's own. You Dr. will be able to tell by U/S what is going on. If the pain you are feeling does not feel normal or increases in intensity, I would go to the ER. If not, just rest and go in the morning. Unfortunately, miscarriages happen all of the time and your body knows what to do. If you have a history of other problems (Endometriosis, Ovarian Cysts, Cronic Pelvic Pain, Previous Laporoscopy Procedure, STD's) you may want to go in just to rule out an Ectopic Pregnancy or a Tubal Pregnancy. Good Luck!

Unless you are hemorrhaging you do not need to go to the hospital. You will just get a huge bill needlessly.

If I am understanding you correctly, if you were pregnant, you would only have been at most a couple of weeks along. At this stage symptoms of a miscarriage are not much more than a heavy period. The embyro/placental unit would barely be visable (maybe 1 - 1.5 millimeters in size), especially in blood. Women who miscarry at this stage often don't even realize they were pregnant, and just think they are starting their period. In any case, once everything has passed the bleeding diminishes significantly.

You could also just be having unusual symptoms due to missing a few pills and then stopping your pills completely early. These hormonal changes can definitely affect how you feel, your cycle and how much you bleed.

Keep your doctor's appointment just to ease your mind, but chances are you were not pregnant, and if you were and did have a miscarriage it was so early that complications are unlikely. Only if you are currently hemorrhaging is there an emergency. The only other consideration would be if you kept bleeding, even lightly for weeks - then you definitely should see your doctor.

You might not be necessarily having a miscarriage. With my pregnancy, I passed smallish grayish clots and it was just my uterus lining shedding. While I was passing these clots, I really was not in much pain. Of course I was extremely scared because I tried so hard to become pregnant and already had a miscarriage, so I thought it was happening again. However, the pain was not severe at all, like the pain I experienced with a miscarriage. To make a long story short, I had a healthy baby.

If you are in major pain and bleeding severely, then I would say go to the hospital. But if you are okay and not in pain, then you can hold off until you see your doctor tomorrow.

Good Luck.

The 24 day cycle doesn't matter any more on the pill. You get your period when you stop taking the active pills. It might be possible that you were pregnant, but what can you do about it now? If you were only a week a two pregnant it's already gone. I wouldn't go the ER, just the doctor to find out if you were pregnant.

First of all - there is no way of knowing if the clot was actually fetal tissue without seeing your doctor first, so please do not believe everything that is posted here.

The best thing to do is see your doctor ASAP, because IF (and I stress the word IF) you did suffer a miscarriage, you may have some membranes left inside you that need cleaning out. Also when you see your doctor you will be able to talk to them about time frames for falling pregnant again etc.

Good Luck and I hope it all works out : )

To "Q & A MAN": Your argument is not very legitimate. When a girl has conceived a youngster, the youngster, of direction, is not instantly completely grown. It begins off as a fetus with out all the physically techniques that you simply could see in a human. Also, even if the youngster is born, it maintains to develop. The youngster even finally ends up with extra bones than it as soon as had; precise services of an child's mind get weaker as they grow older too since they come to be being out of date. As we develop, our cells continually multiply inflicting us to get larger in measurement, so the idea that all of us began from a unmarried celled organism is not too some distance fetched. Not to say, plenty of microorganisms that motive health problem evolve as our remedy will get extra complicated. It's all approximately the organism adapting in order that it may be forward of the sport and insure the continuation of the species. EDIT: Another factor that I forgot to say is that our "layout" is not even wonderful. We're inclined to mutations and ailments. Also a few ingredients of the frame are not particularly indispensable; there are a few matters that our our bodies are not able to certainly recuperate from as good. Now to the query: The simplest aspect of the 'God suggestion' that turns out fair is the "permit there be mild" factor. Maybe this used to be potentially the significant bang. Maybe this universe used to be created by accident by means of a few smart beings or a few common happening phenomenon. Perhaps it will occur once more. The proposal of an all-powerful being has effortlessly developed with mankind through the years to provide an explanation for what could not be defined. Even now after we are not able to give an explanation for whatever we companion it with matters that we're already conversant in.

go to the doctor, Go now if u feel like it. Not like the dead baby will kill ya overnight..

people like you make me sick. you "missed a pill or two" yet you still had unprotected sex.. thats dumber than a bag of rocks.

Hell it sounds like your taking the pills could have lead to a miscarriage.. See the egg could have been fertilized When the Chemicals in your uteris were normal, but stopping when you did was too late. the pills you took after you Actually got pregnant and before you found out could have easilly caused it to die. But im sure u already knew that. Sorry :-(

Im sorry to be blunt but there are too many people doing this. too many kids being born by accident because their dumb parents couldnt use a condom.

I really hope you learn something from this experience and i wish you the best of luck. just please dont be so dumb next time. Think about the kids, not yourself

Unless your bleeding becomes heavier than a pad an hour you are probably safe to wait until tomorrow. Also if the pain gets unmanageable go ahead and go.

9 times out of 10 probably ok to wait if you are going tomorrow, but if it really gets bad, go in. Watch yourself, can never be to careful, take care of your self. Sounds like a good poss., it is a miscarriage, sorry and good luck!
