Why do liberals say they are tolerant when they hate all successful Americans?

Successful Americans are respected through out the world. How liberal can hate them? You have not given any instance. Obviously you have nothing to substantiate your claim. Please be positive.

The American Dream is simply a dream for most Americans. Vast wealth won't happen no matter how smart they are or how hard they work. To be super wealthy in this country you need money and connections to start. The wealthy elite have both. They get into the most presitgious schools and colleges. Their parents belong to the right clubs and they meet others just like themselves. A middle class kid will never have the same opportunity. The tax loopholes the wealthy use to pay lower tax rates are available to eveyone. Municipal bonds which are tax free and qualified capital gains are available to everyone. But who has enough money to invest large amounts in either of them. The little people might buy savings bonds ostensibly to both help the country and themselves but interest on these pitiful investments are taxed as ordinary income. A person has to have a lot of money to earn much investing in municipal bonds and capital gains. In the meantime those preferential low tax rates are the reason the national debt keeps going up and up. The major component of the deficite is the bush tax reductions. The working people are in fact subsidizing the wealthy for their portion of federal obligations. The idea that the wealthy people work harder than everyone else is fantasy. Most of them never worked a hard job for a day in their lives. Nor are they smarter than other people. But they actually think they deserve both the power and comfort they enjoy every day while those of us who make this country work, deserve nothing. Liberals don't hate the rich, we are just tired of paying their freight bill.

I don't hate successful American ( oh wait that would be some of my family) just cooperation's and I don't like imports good from China and calling a costumer service line/ 1-800 number and talking to people from INDIA. I don't like our jobs going over seas

I like your question...it also seems to me that liberals, who are SUPPOSEDLY the ones who believe the most vehemently in free speech and tolerance, are the NASTIEST to anyone who disagrees with them.

I think liberals in general lean more toward socialist/communist ideologies, which are basically "nobody should have more or live better than anybody else." It's simply a mindset that may have genetic causes. I believe that is seated as some buried form of jealousy and entitlement that is seriously detrimental to the right to the "pursuit of happiness".

I think they'd all like us to be "equally miserable."

Why do you think that? I don't like that Cheney was the CEO of Enron (& still has lots of stock) before he orchestrated the contract for Iraq. I don't like that Starbucks is bulldozing the rain forest to grow coffee, but if you can make money without hurting or killing others, go for it!
