This is my department. I love doing this to annoying people with small children. Toys that are instruments! My favourites have included drum set, trumpet and the ultimate is the flute. High pitched and with a 3yr.old blowing on it all day out of tune mind you the guy will go crazy!LOL Great question. Hope that helped.

Most Annoying Kids Toys

The Elmo Chicken dance (or Elmo YMCA) lol...I'm definitely not bringing that one into my home. But they are more obnoxious then loud. I would go with obnoxious over noisy...it goes way further (I have a 2 year old and some of his toys drive me up the wall).

But as I understand it, it's difficult to find really loud toy's now (unless you get drums or a keyboard) because there is a safety regulation. Loud toys in the past have been shown to cause hearing loss, so they are starting to put limits on them.

As a parent of three children, the most annoying toy my children have gotten was a drum machine from my aunt. Or you could try a xylophone. Better yet... how about some old pots and pans and wooden spoons.

We recently had a birthday party, and I mistakenly got party horns from the dollar store and gave them to 8 children.

Good luck (and invest in some earplugs)

The most annoying toy I can think of is a doll that " cries". It's not loud but really aggravating. Your niece will love it but it will drive your brother in law crazy. lol Make sure there is a back up supply of batteries with it.

I can't think of what they are called but it's on wheels and you push it. .. it has balls inside of a clear plastic globe that pop and make noise when you push it around the room. It's even louder on hardwood floors. They have been around forever. I had one when I was little and I am 30 now. I got one for my niece at Toys R Us a few years ago. Drives my brother nuts.

My mother in law got my kids a musical sit n spin. When you touch it, it plays the most annoying "country/rock" music that you can't stop. Once it is on, it just keeps going.... And there's no on off switch! It's definitely the most annoying toy we have!

I have three-year-old twins and nothing is worse than band in a box. You can get it pretty much anywhere and it will include a drum, tamborine, and several other musical instruments. It is good because it doesn't take batteries and can't be turned off.

Buy her toys that would stimulate her mind. Educational toys or toys like puzzles and books (for her age of course). Hope this helps :)
