I think people yell at others because they are frustrated....and then they yell at those who are closest to them...my 17 year old son yells at all of us...but later in the day he feels bad for taking out his frustration on all of us.....sometimes parents yell because their kids seem to go deaf occasionally and then those parents think the kids are deaf all the time and they just have a bad pattern going....yelling sucks!

I never have anyone yell at me! Why would everyone be yelling at you are you being rude to them? I don't think that is normal or ok to be yelled at all the time. Is is possible that you are over sensitive to people or situations?

I feel as though I do, and always wonder whether I am just paranoid or accurately perceiving reality.
I like this question; if people answer it honestly, we might learn something about 1) how snippy many folks are, or 2) how insecure many folks are, or 3) both.

Seek professional help immediately while you still can, most people do not find themselves being yelled at often. Therefore the problem is YOU! Now, having identified that, a therapist may delve into your subconscious at to why you are acting in such a way that people want to yell at you. No charge.

They yelled at you because you let them. If someone yelled at you, look them straight to the eye and tell them with no hesitation, "Don't yell at me!", they will stop. If it does work for me, it will work for you.
