Well there are a lot of different types of green beans. If you are talking about when it will start to bloom, most varieties will do so in 6-8 weeks. It depends a lot on your growing conditions. Now if you’re talking about waiting for the pod to mature to have seed beans that will be quite a bit longer. To be honest, I need a little more info to be able to help you better.

Good luck….Chaz

You can be eating green beans 40 days after the seed is planted. I grow them every year. The plant will produce beans for about 6 weeks.
