I think a lot of it is just plain whining and I know I get sick of listening to all the whining after a while. Other than that it is pretty meaningless, unless somebody just wants to be nasty.

Racism exist from all races. Blacks are just as racist as whites.
One reason they may be discriminated against is the way some of them wear their clothes, As a business owner I wouldn't hire anyone, white or black, who wore his pants below his butt, had to walk with one hand holing up his pants, and when walking did so with a swagger. I also would not hire anyone who couldn't speak proper English. Now you might say I am racist for this statement and you are entitled to your opinion. For the record, I have a black neighbor who is a great person. I also have several black and Hispanic friends. I would rater associate with them or live next to them over many white people I know. I have two Hispanics who work for me and they are like family. IF they had come to apply for a job with their pants hanging off their *** and not able to speak proper English I would not have hired them. Does that make me a racist, or Someone who cares about his business and the image it has?

Because they will never get over slavery.I cant even begin to imagine what that was like but I do know this.My ancestors are Irish and Italian. We were called wops and mics and treated like second class citizens. There were no such things as welfare or food stamps when my ancestors emigrated here over 100 years ago.It is the same old song and dance it seems. My great great grandparents had to accept discrimination, abuse and shitty jobs when they came here as well as ridicule from the "americans" of that era and they survived without any handouts or spokespeople like Jesse Jackson.I am not saying that racism is dead but they need to rise above it and stop using it as an excuse for themselves. And I want to know why Michael Richards has to apologize to Jesse Jackson for what he did when they call themselves that "forbidden" word all the time?????

Your first statement/question is not the same as your second.

1st one: I have never heard a white person say, "its your own fault". I have heard, and i have said, "stop playing the race card"

2nd one: I believe the vast majority (if i were to guess, 90%) of people who are claiming to have been discriminated against due to race are saying that because that is their only defense. I believe it is a cop out. i also believe that the people who play the race card are as, or more racist than the ones they are accusing. Race had nothing to do with the issue, until they brought it up, so they are the racists.

3rd one: "Black people" do not all think alike. That is racist thinking. "black people" should just be "people". Take the race out of the question. By seperating people by race to answer a question, you are being racist.

Well, first of all, I don't believe it is all the white people. Because there is white people that are compassionate to race and because of these kind of people slavery ended. The people that make comments like that though, I believe have issues with being rascist themselves, or put a blind eye so they don't have to deal with it. They are in denial. We should be considered as equal and not judged by skin color, race, religion, beliefs, and many others more.

Slavery ended 100's of years ago, they are not legally allowed to be discriminated against anymore when it comes to jobs. In fact due to affirmative action laws often times white applicants that have better qualifications for the same jobs as their African American predesessors are applying for are passed over due to the affirmative action laws.
