Why do liberals always want the terrorists to win?

If American and coalition forces pull out now,you get a country ruled by the mob and probably a Taliban like mob, worse than in Iran.
That invasion was wrong, but like Powell said you break it,you are responsible.
And the presence of US and coalition forces there now is legal under International law seeing they are there asked by the legitimate elected government of Iraq.
This doesn't change the fact that the invasion was illegal and much of the chaos and problems there now were not there when Saddam ruled.Under Saddam it was possible to stay out of politics and stay safe.

The minute we leave, all out genocide between Sunis and Shias would really get into full swing.

Eventaully Iraq would be taken over by Iran, Al Quaidda, and military forced from Syria. Iran would annex Iraq. It would be become a terrorist haven and a puppet nation controlled by the Imam's in Iran.

Right now it is already civil war with complete chaos. So it probably couldn't get much worse. It would probably come out to a case of the survival of the fittest, and then again that is what is happening now.
Oh - did you say "helping"? sorry, I thought you meant "hurting". Well, the answer remains the same in any case.

It's now obvious that our leaving or staying wont change much.
But, let them do their thing. We are not at war against Iraq, and we didn't go there to stand between two extremist groups trying to prove who is the rightful heir to Mohammad.
Watching them kill each other beats watching them kill Americans.

I not quite sure but it can not be as worse as when they started to help. Maybe they could film a new Flintstones Movie - In the Beginning!

I am the Fringe and this (un) helpful situation sounds like the most popular question in a gay bar, Hey fella, can I push your stool in?

Our intentions MAY be well-meaning (I can't read the President's and Congress' mind so I don't know) but we are NOT helping them. What would happen is that fewer or no American Soldiers would die, and Iraq would finally learn to unite and take care of ITSELF.

Their country would descend to chaos and a warlord would become a new dictator like saddam was.

All in all this would be not much different from any of their neighbours.

Civil war would actually be the BEST CASE scenario and being taken over by Iran would be the probable one.
