To me it isn't because of all the reports of trans fats not to mention the high cost. I won't even get into some of the negative things that I hear that goes on with young employees putting disgusting bodily fluids into the foods. yuck. stay home and cook, its much safer

Personally, I never found it appealing to eat food that tastes like cardboard and cardboard covered with grease. Fortunately, I didn't grow up on fast food. I had a mom who cooked. In fact, I ate my first big mac when I was about 17 and had gone out of town with a school group---I lived in a place with a lot of fast food restaurants--we just never went. Fast food literally makes me sick.

I used to eat at every fast food place regularly. Some of it did lose appeal for me. I stick to a few places now, but I can't stand McDonald's or Burger King. I like Wendy's, Blimpie, Panera, and occasionally, Culver's. But I'm picky about what I get.

you know, I have noticed the same thing. I don't know exactly why, but i have a few ideas. One is that, as we get older and are more exposed to fast food, we become "used to" fast food. It's almost like our palette becomes more refined to fast food, and thus not all fast food tastes good to us.

Another idea is that the food HAS gotten worse. As the fast food business gets more competitive, companies have cut corners in order to increase profits.

Fast food has NEVER been appealing! (Or as the menuboard at Behm's Restaurant in Tremont, PA reads, "Good Food Takes Time.")

No way, everyone is better informed on food, calories, fat content and nutrition in general. Fast food has to make the leap to the healthier side, some are trying but it's not enough for me yet.

It isn't anymore and that works for me because now I cook at home and my son wants the food I cook, but we do eat out as a treat sometimes.
