Every mall I've been to always with two stories, has a huge flag hanging on the side from the ceiling in one of those gaps in the second floor. And most stores have those little American flag stickers on the window. Is it like a law or something, because I wouldn't think every mall would do that or every store with the stickers?

No. As long as the mall is a private industry, there is no law forcing it. There are flag laws, however. I believe some are such as, "if you fly a flag so high, it must be accompanied by an American flag"

There is no law that says a private business MUST display the American Flag, however, it does make you feel good when you see "OLD GLORY" all over the place, now doesn't it?

I doubt very much it's the law. I can't imagine any law that could require that for a private business. Probably just appealing to patriotism.

NO it's not the law, it's just a way for stores to show patriotism. There are times when patriotism sells, and that means more money for businesses.

Not likely; they're just trying to appeal to your patriotism . . . even though 95% of the stuff they're selling is made in China or elsewhere . . . as are most of the flag stickers!

Every country with an "ego" is like that. I live in China, and it's the same thing. In the States, it's not a law, but if everybody does it ... you know.
