The treadmill is only for adults. I have 3 kids and 2 of them have a pudgy belly.

When your actively playing them point to the TV or the stereo and click on that object. You will get the choices of "watch or listen" or "workout". Choose "workout" for you young sims and they will proceed to do a little workout. I had the same problem with mine till I realized that they could at least have a workout from either the tv or the stereo but, it does take a little bit of time. Good luck and Happy Simming.

You've got 3 options to get your kids in shape:
1 - Build a pool.
2 - Buy a stereo and get them to work out.
3 - If you have an adult sims that's high enough in the Athletics career you get a punching bag that kids can use.

Buy an audio system from the buy menu. Turn it on. Click on it and u will see dance solo and work out. Chose work out and the kid will start doing exercise. Or if u have a swimming pool u can make both the kids and the adults go swimming which will help them get back in shape.

no way, by far the best thing to do would be to build a swimming pool, and let them swim for an hour or two a day

I build a mondo fence around them and once a day i bring them a piece of toast.
