The reason why I'm asking is bec. I exercise and I don't loose weight. I got annoyed and stoped exercise for 6 months and didn't gain a pound. I don't eat fast food, I eat mostly vegs, fruit, meat 1-2 a day and cards 2 twice a day I do yoga and arobics nonthing, 4-5 hrs a week. I've 2 kids 5 yrs, and 1 yrs. My weight is 125 pounds and tall 5'3.I know I'm not over weight and I'm not fat but I would like to get my old shape back. I'm not sure of my body shape, I know I'm not an apple. My front view, I'm either an hour glass or a ruler but the back view screams pear. I seem to gain it in my lower back and sides ,little in my butt and little in my boobs. My arms are always big for a chick not fat there. I was wondering if eating carbs is what's keeping me from loosing the last 10 pounds. any advice is helpful!

Try reducing your carb/calorie intake. Most people hit a platue after a period of time when trying to lose weight.

Try to keep in mind as we get older our metabolism slows down. Most people have a difficult time losing the last 10 pounds because they have hit a plateau. Your body becomes more efficient in retaining fat. You need to step up your exercise plan, and reduce your calorie intake. That may mean carbs. I do think the easier plan is to be realistic...your body has changed after having 2 children. You eat right and exercise on a regular basis...you seem like a healthy person..so is the 10 pounds really a big deal?
